Intraocular lenses
state-of-the-art technology for viewing at all distances
The appropriate selection of intraocular lenses will depend on the ophthalmologist’s recommendation for each patient, based on their needs and characteristics.

Monofocal lens
If you opt for a monofocal lens, you should be aware that it will only provide good distance vision, so you will still need to wear glasses for near and/or intermediate vision, and it will not correct presbyopia or eyestrain.
Multifocal lenses
On the contrary, state-of-the-art multifocal lenses provide patients with a solution to their cataract problem, as well as presbyopia or any other associated refractive error (myopia, hyperopia, and/or astigmatism), restoring good vision at all distances (near, intermediate, and far).
