The patient who has this visual condition and wants to do without the dependence on near glasses has two effective alternatives for <strong>the treatment of tired eyes<\/strong>. On the one hand, laser refractive surgery applied to the cornea (presbylasik and presbyfemtolasik). On the other hand, <strong>presbyopia surgery with an intraocular lens<\/strong> (refractive lens).   <\/p>\n<p>In any case, it will be the specialist in Ophthalmology who will determine the most appropriate technique for each patient after an exhaustive preoperative study.<\/p>\n<p>It should be remembered that the progressive decrease in the ability to focus at close distances, known as eyestrain or presbyopia, is considered a natural process. This occurs when you reach an average age and increases over time. <\/p>\n<p>When the ophthalmologist determines that the patient is not a suitable candidate for the laser option due to the anatomical characteristics of their eye (poor corneal thickness, high prescription, among other factors) and\/or their age, there are other options such as <strong>presbyopia surgery with an intraocular lens<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_padding=&#8221;padding-3-percent&#8221;
