The Salvà Clinic, located in Palma de Mallorca, is a modern private medical center founded in 2012, which currently serves as the headquarters for the Oftalmedic Salvà network of ophthalmology clinics.
It has modern facilities spread over more than 4,500 m2 of floor space, with no architectural barriers, so that patients can enjoy maximum comfort during their visit.
Natural lighting plays a fundamental role in the building’s design, featuring large glass surfaces and skylights located in strategic areas such as the waiting room to take advantage of the characteristic Mediterranean sunlight. These elements allow natural light to enter the building, creating a welcoming environment for patients and their companions.
In addition, since 2021 the clinic has had a 40 kW solar panel system. Thanks to the Pla d’Inversions per a la Transició Energètica de les Illes Balears (PITEIB) and the financial support of the European Union – NextGenerationEU, this solar panel installation has now been expanded to 90 kW. In this way, Oftalmedic Salvà (at Clínica Salvà) is moving forward on the path to sustainability, becoming the first ophthalmology clinic in the Balearic Islands to commit to clean and inexhaustible energy, and continuing its efforts to be a more sustainable, environmentally friendly, and socially responsible company.
Clínica Salvà is located 5 minutes from the center of the Mallorcan capital, with direct access to the MA-20 ring road, also known as the beltway.
