Neuromodulators help soften wrinkles caused by repeated contraction of the facial muscles, such as forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet:

1. Forehead: Applied to the frontalis muscle to soften horizontal lines that appear when raising the eyebrows. It leaves the forehead smoother while preserving natural expression and facial movement.

2. Glabella (frown lines): Targets the corrugator and procerus muscles. It relaxes the vertical lines formed when frowning, which are responsible for a tired or worried expression.

3. Crow’s feet: Injected around the outer eye area into the orbicularis oculi muscle. It reduces wrinkles that appear when smiling, maintaining a natural look.

How does it work?

Neuromodulator wrinkle treatment temporarily blocks nerve transmission to the muscle, reducing its contraction strength.

This action allows the skin to gradually smooth out and helps prevent wrinkles from deepening further.

Procedure

Wrinkle treatment with neuromodulators is performed using micro-injections with very fine needles. The procedure takes approximately 20 minutes and does not require anesthesia (although a numbing cream can be used if the patient prefers).

Results

Results from neuromodulator treatment begin to appear within 3–5 days, with maximum effect at 10–14 days. They typically last 4–6 months, depending on the patient and the treated area.
