What is it
Drooping eyebrows
Over the years, it is common for the eyebrows to droop, which gives the eyes an aged appearance.
In general, this loss of the eyebrows is related to aging (the skin, fat and muscles in the eyebrow area lose firmness and can cause changes in the appearance of the eyebrows) and genetic factors.

Treatment for drooping eyebrows

Through skin resection for brow lift , a myocutaneous resection is performed on the upper edge of the eyebrow to correct its drooping, raising and fixing the eyebrow in the correct position.
The duration of this procedure on both eyebrows is approximately one hour. It is performed under local anesthesia and recovery is quick and uncomfortable. The scar from the procedure is usually discreet after a couple of months.
Drooping eyebrows can also be accompanied by excess skin on the upper eyelid. However, it is possible to combine brow lift surgery with blepharoplasty to achieve an optimal effect on the aesthetics of the look.
